From the first caveman hypnotized by the flames ignited on a dead tree by lightening to the rockets of the Apollo 11 mission, a constant theme in our history has been fire. Our technology, our accomplishments, our very century exists because we, in the words of anthropologist, Loren Eisly, climbed the energy ladder. As long as we exist, we will keep trying to scale higher up that ladder, compelled to ascend by our nature. Man is homo sapien; he is also homo ignis.

The prime sun looks down at the accomplishment, tending towards white in its enthusiasm. The inventor, on the other hand, is not charged with Dionysian joy. And behind him is Apollo, the old god of light and truth, now the spiritual embodiment of those realities. He is a transparent because he transcends matter, events and time points; he is a cosmic force, the brain is his medium and the new sun of the future is the result.
